Barrier Reef 2011

The Barrier Reef Tournament

Friday 5th to Sunday 7th August 2011

Due to the lack of teams from overseas for this year's Barrier Reef Tournament, the Cairns Baseball League
has decided to make the tournament "Club Based" to allow more participation from local players

Clubs are invited to nominate teams for the
2011 Barrier Reef Club Challenge

The Tournament will be conducted from Friday 5th August to Sunday 7th August at Trinity Beach Cairns

Nomination Fee is $100.00 per team

Only Senior and U18 players who are registered financial members of Baseball Queensland may participate

Wooden bats only must be used

Competition format will depend on the number of teams nominating

At this year's Tournament, instead of the usual medallions and individual trophies,
it has been decided to award a

$300.00 cash prize to the winning team
and
$100.00 to the runners up

The winners will also receive a "Winner's Plaque"
